For more than 20 years, Paul Mills has been an executive education specialist, designing and delivering leadership development programs for some of Australia’s largest and most influential organisations.
A dynamic presenter and facilitator, he has a capacity to reduce complex concepts into practical and meaningful ways of advancing leadership practice. Working with managers and leaders at all levels, his practice has advanced over the years to focus on senior managers through to executives and executive teams in both the private and public sectors.
Paul specialises in leadership and professional development, change leadership and strategy formulation and implementation, having run countless off-sites, strategy development sessions and executive development events over the years. He holds a Master of Business Enterprise Innovation (Entrepreneurship), with particular interest in organisational renewal and regaining agility. He also holds a sweep of professional accreditations and certifications which, combined with his strong ability to read people, produces deep self-awareness in those he works with.

Starting his career in the mid-1980s, Paul occupied management roles in the banking and finance sector, prior to entering the university space to develop commercial programs for RMIT University’s School of Management. This included some of the early executive education programs run in Vietnam in the early 1990s, together with running a course in the University’s flagship business program in Wuhan, China.
He joined Mt Eliza Business School (now Mt Eliza Executive Education) in 1999, where his client portfolio included Coles Myer Group, Subaru, Parmalat Australia, Leightons Contractors and Macquarie Group. Paul led the Macquarie Bank Directors Program globally for over 9 years across four continents and to stellar feedback in all locations. His last role with the School was as General Manager of the Northern Region, responsible for programs and business development.
He left the School in 2004 to start his own business, but still operates as an Associate Program Director for Mt Eliza, co-facilitating the ‘Emerging Managers Program’ and running leadership development programs for Fairfax Media as part of their change and transformation program.
Since 2004, Paul has operated his own business as an experienced facilitator, presenter and executive coach, his clients including ASX, Reserve Bank of Australia, Choice, Optus, Mars, Ausfuel,OzForex, Apparel Group, Veda and Cover-More Group. He has worked in Asia as an Executive Coach for the Center for Creative Leadership (USA), and is currently an Associate Program Director for Mt Eliza Executive Education and an Adjunct of the AGSM.
Paul has led executive leadership programs on four continents, including the UK, US and throughout Asia Pacific.
